weight of stock seats

hi all,
just wondering if anyone knows or can obtain the weight of stock 1200 sedan and coupe front seats please. cant get mine out in the rain and just want to compare something. cheers

Hiya, i,ve also wanted to weigh mine but hav,nt got around to it yet. However from the many times i,ve carried them around i,m guessing at about 12kgs each.....

11.4KG for a standed ute seat on my bathroom scales.

thanks fellas, now to pull out the subaru liberty seats to compare them. need to compare the weights for engenieering.

So the weight has to be similar to original using original seat rails?
I didn't think about seat weight.

more to do with the strength on the front rail mounts (where they bolt to the car). more than 1kg than the stock seats needs some reinforcing. Looking at it not sure why but its on my list of stuff to do. Might just get stock seats back in.

Ha Ha, total fluke.....but suprised seats are so heavy, can see why race cars only have one light weight seat.
Quess its possible to remove a lot weight from a 1200 just by unbolting the seats and also carpet. Passenger seat -12kg Back seat -20kg (another quess) carpet -10kg (another guess) Fit 6kg race seat -6kg Total -48kg Thats a lot of weight loss from a couple of very simple mods.

oh yeah and scrapping the tar off the floor is 5kg extra
