Hi guys I got so advice regarding the head and the flywheel is there anybody that can confrim this please help thanx "To increase the oil preassure I normaly put a washer or two behind the relief valve spring on the oil pump.
I did knife edged a 1400 crank before and gained 0... Fo*oll, a 1400 dont rev hi enough to gain from this. All I do is fit a splash plate to the one side of the sump and profile it to the crank with +/- 1mm clearance. To me a 280 is a litle rough for town, I prefer 276, try it and see.... I also use the standard push rods and rockers, unless I realy wanna push the revs. A lil tip..... I see your combustion chaimbers is still qite big. You can skimm your head a lot still to up the compression, cc your head and skim it to a compretion ratio of 12.1 to 12.3-1 no more tha that. When they skim yor head, let them shim it skew, let them skim on the oposite side of th pushrod holes 3mm more, if you skim to much on the pushrod side your rockers tend to hit the tappet cover".
