Howdy guys, Due to an engine swap I'm selling the complete engine, 4 speed manual transmission, extractors (6 months old), full exhaust from extractors to twin outlet rear muffler (6 months old), radiator and hoses, all engine modules, carby, basically bloody everything! Everything required to just bolt this engine into your car will be supplied apart from the wiring loom. The engine has been converted to an electical distributor and it was running an electrical fuel pump but I have a new mechanical pump to throw in with the package. The radiator has been replaced/reco'd only a year or so ago by the look of it. It has had the welch plugs replaced recently too (apart from the rear head plug which will be easy to do with the engine out of the car.
I drove the car 4.5 hours home when I picked it up and it ran perfectly. We sat on 105-110 all the way home so it goes great! It's too much stuff to arrange a courier so it will be pickup from Melbourne only. Unless you want to arrange it all through the courier. I can get it put onto mini pallets for you but it would quickly add up in terms of freight I'd say.
Price wise I have no idea what it is all worth. I'll say $500 as a starting point but if I'm dreaming let me know!!
If I don't sell it here I'll whack it on Ebay but I'd rather sell it to one of you guys first. I'll post some other photos tomorrow but these are of the engine in the ute still.
Let me know if there are any questions.

Do you know what type of extractors they are? I have a set that I thought was custom, but are identical to yours.

Not sure what brand they are. They don't seem to have a brand name on them. I'll have a closer look tomorrow. Quote: elemental_funk wrote: Do you know what type of extractors they are? I have a set that I thought was custom, but are identical to yours.

Yeah it'd be a bit costly. If you're gunna go CA18 surely you'd go a DET? If you're gunna go to the effort of doing a swap you may as well make it worthwhile I reckon. Even a bog stock CA18DET @ 124kw or whatever they are is gunna be a great drive. If you can find someone keen to get out of one you'll pick it up for around $1000.
