Man that really sucks.

I'm glad the 1000's have a dash that's basically part of the body, good luck pulling that one off in a hurry.

Hope it turns up again dude keep your eyes peeled on eBay and gumtree.

Yeah it was,i am of the belief that it is only like 6 odd screws to pull the whole dash out... Its sad to think that a fellow Datsun lover/enthusiast has stolen something that one of his fellow Datsun enthusiasts loves, it makes me even sadder that they'd do it and then not realize what they've done and return it.

Hi guys here is the latest on one of my good mates Dattos, if anyone can assist please do not hesitate to contact me i would really love to find it!!

The dashboard has been stolen out of my 1970 1600 in the East Doncaster area of Victoria.
It's a pretty unique combination with a 200B speedo reading in Km/H instead of MPH. It also has a hole drilled in the perspex for the trip meter button to come through. It has the factory 1600 tacho and the centre section where the radio would normally fit has a VDO temp, clock and volt meter mounted in it. There was also an intermittent wiper control mounted in this section across from the cigarette lighter. The needles on the speedo, tacho, fuel and original temp have been painted orange to match the VDO needles.
I also have a 200B column cluster with the wiper switch and light switch on the indicator stalk. The cover was taken from that with the ignition switch and a dash light dimmer mounted behind the switch.

Please let me know if you have seen any of this around as I desperately would love to get it back.

Cheers Eddy
