Would love to hear more on the LPG operation.. using stock carby? Where abouts does the mixer go (i.e. on top of the carby or is there a hose and separate air cleaner etc)

add another leaf to the rear leaves, to stiffen it up. I ddid that, but also flipped them to lower the car, i flipped them without spirng and it sagged a lot more with 60lt lpg tank in the rear of b110. so when added the extra leaf (ute load leaf and the 2nd shortest leaf - it stiffened it up and kept the ride height i was after

Hi zordmaker

I´ll try explain LPG

LPG 1 valve : open/cut LPG coming from Tank to Vaporiser
LPG 2 valve : open/cut Gasoline to Carby ( both valves can be manually operated )
A : Mixer with Little Holes around - Sits over stock carby & under Air Filter Box rubber .
TAP : to regulate Lpg Amount + or - at High RPM ( there is another little screw on LPG Vaporiser to regulate + or - at Ralenti )

* The LESS LPG on Carby - The MORE POWER ENGINE GETS * ( the opposite of gasoline )

I like these 120y wagons and would love to own one. If using LPG
a well tune straight LPG system (no petrol) is the most satisfying
and reliable where dual systems are nightmares.
I would add and extra leaf but not flip any of them.
The ride will be best when all leafs springs add force in the one
direction "up" than even having one forcing them down.

Thanks for that - I didn't know the mixer could be so small! The mixer in my carby Hilux is quite a large beast. Of course the Hilux has an air cleaer quite distant from the carby (connected by rubber hoses) and so inserting the mixer there is a natural injection spot.

But on the datto the cleaner sits right on top of the carby so as far as I could see the mixer would either have to be very slim and small (looks like thats your approach) or the air cleaer woulh have to be hosed off to another place under the boneet like the Hilux one is.

The conversion to my datto will have to be done by a licensed shop anyway to get the various approvals though needed in Australia - but still it's good to know my options first.

Hi Stinky

Tomorrow I'll post Photo of the Tank in the rear - it's a BIG 90 Liter that Fills with 78 Litres . LPG Price goes from 0,64€/liter till 0,88€/liter in different cyties ( gasoline is 1.58€/liter ) - so a Big Tank makes the difference .

If you can afford it this is the best LPG tank in the world and
can be built to fit almost anywhere. totally modular and compact.
When I checked its only 25% more than the steel primitive tanks.

pretty impressive pictures...
