Bought this as a minor project to daily 4-5 months ago. Now it needs to go.
I have pages of background information I can forward. Plus folders full of relevent Datsun-manuals + 3 CD's with further info. 1975 VB210 4-door station wagon, Japanese import. 223,000. 1984 Vanette A15 motor, rebuilt in 2003. Has done approx 100,000km. Bottom end is standard using ACL parts and where possible genuine Nissan seals and gaskets. 8.5:1 comp, was suited for SC12 but was never fitted. Block was lightly honed, not bored oversize. Original spec ACL rings fitted to dished Nissan pistons. A12 flywheel (lighter) Rear main started to leak, not very much. Probably 200mL every few months. A15 Sunny coupe oval-port head (factory twin-carbs). Short turns have been ported, oversize (1.75") stainless valves, seats, inserts, solid lifters. Wet manifold water jackets have been dowelled. Currently fitted with re-jetted Sunny A15 carburettor, but was previously running auto choke Vanette A15 carb with A12 jets (also supplied). Factory Vanette filter box and piping. Vanette non-electric distributor, new points, condensor, resistor. Larger voltage regulator to suit charging larger battery. Starter relay added. Low beam and high beam relay switched and independently fused Extractors, 2" full-length exhaust. Fairly quiet. Sunny wagon 60 series 4-speed manual, Xtreme H/D clutch. Original Hitachi H150 diff. Gas inserts in front struts. Reset leaf springs, Monroe GT Gas 1200 ute rear shocks. New front wheel bearings, ball joints, tie rod ends, Nolothane sway bar link bushes and Radius rod bushes. Original 12x4 steel with near new 155/80. Also have a set of 13x5 B310 steels with average 175/70. Mostly original Antarctic white paint. Getting a little thin + has a few older touch-ups. Still quite presentable LHS front guard has been replaced at some stage, shows signs of a minor repair to RHS rear corner (near taillight). Minor rust bubbles in two doors, LHS front guard and bonnet. Interior is mostly original black vinyl. Cigarette burn in rear seat, dash is cracked. Has Bluebird front seats. 1200 Coupe tachometer, original AM radio. Asking price is $1700 with all spares (grilles, front bumper, lights, badges, wagon bits, suspension upgrades, lowered springs, spare struts for coilovers etc) Located Modbury.
