Ok so I got a set of Gx5 guard mirrors and just want to know if anyone has the measurements for the rough placement of them on the guards. Just like distance from corner of guard where meets cowl/bonnet to rear most part of the base of the mirror.
From the pics i have it looks like the front most part of the base sits just behind the rear of the indicator assembly.

Some pics to give you an idea;

My JDM 1200 measurements:

Left to right: centered in top of guard (6.5 cm wide)

728mm from rearmost point of guard to front of mirror base. I

Be cautious about cutting the hole. Several guys have cut the hole too big, I guess it's easy to do.

That's for B310, which is a longer fender.

But it gives some ideas.

Are you sure about that. The b310 doesn't have quarter windows, nor does the top of the guard narrow down at the window cowl like the B110.

I am not sure. We asked the poster years ago but he never answred.

The dimensions in that are about 1.5" farther forward that the ones on my Japan ute. Mine might be wrong, or maybe the newer ones were mounted farther along.

if the gaurds are on the car, look under them, have a look at the body/ skirt, there is a cut out in it to give u room for the mirror bolts.

Do you mean the two indentations in the body/frame?
What are they supposed to be there for?

And thanks for the link Dat50 very helpful.

I just took a photo of mine. There are indentations all along the guard, so i think it is not for the mirror.

But there is a plate on mine. I wonder if someone removed the mirrors and welded the hole, then later someone else put the mirrors back in a slightly different spot???
