womby thats the scoop i wanted for my bonnet.
That A series head is beautiful and the 3 exhaust ports are fine for the firing order. I wonder how difficult it would be to match a renault hemi crossflow head to an A series. The renault one has 77mm bores, max 79mm bores and also available in 76mm bores. Ive been on the lookout for a renault r16 but they are all gone by the looks of it.

They went through so much trouble to make it crossflow, but then choose to still have only 3 exhaust ports. Seriously, WTF were they thinking?

bonnet bulge FTW. lol
the a15 thats going into my 1000 will be getting a cut n shut sump and custom engine mounts to get it as far back and low as possible....

I spoke to them a while back now.
The AZ12 would be too tall for the 1000 I think, but you could drop the engine (trim sump, cut crossmember [coils])
