#1 How would you fix this?
AgentWright007 Posted on: 2011/2/26 17:09
My 210 had been hit here before i got it. The guy i bought it from had someone quickly beat the large dent out leaving a bunch of "cellulite". Ive started sanding it down and using hammer and dolly to fix some of it. Im not experienced with body hammers so i havent done much. A replacement panel is not readily available or easy to replace, and i dont want to just go over it with a bunch of filler. Opinions? Thanks - 007

more hammer & dolly
use shrinking hammer also
then finish with a very light coat of filler
take your time, it will take a couple of hours

Depending how deep the ripples are you can skip bonding filler and use fiberglass filler which is more durable. Its the purple stuff in the gallon can. The proper way is to cut the fender out and weld a new one in. Fast and easy, use fiberglass filler.
