hi there,
have the following available:

surplus to my needs as i got it with a 1000 wagon i just purchased.

datsun a15 engine in good running condition.
have been told it was rebuilt from the previous owner, and has a large cam and possibly other work (can get information, but that is all i remember at the moment). radiator also included.

FORGOT TO MENTION it has a H89 head which looks to be in excellent condition. (pictures added)

was told it was built to suit a turbo/supercharger

i received it as a spare engine when i bought another datsun, and its just taking up room

comes with extractors, and all immediate accessories as pictured.

can be heard running on the engine stand if necessary.

chasing $550 for the lot.

WILL take part trades for NOS or excellent condition datsun 1000 parts (wagon compatible)

located in willetton, perth.

Regards
Todd

How many wagons you building... sheesh

Tail lights differ depending on years
Dashes are differernt too ... do you mean cluster ?... and if so to suit padded or non padded dash... maybe a pic

I'll have to see if I have any doors left... or if I am using them on mine

yeah sorry should have been more specific.
car is indeed a '68 deluxe vb10, so chasing padded dash itself in ok condition or better.

same with things like door trims, even the correct tail lights to suit with the integrated reverse lights. (i think these are the right ones).

already on datsun1000 elemental, thanks though.

sounds pretty good dundee, im just chasing random pieces here and there to make it all work nicely together. will keep you in mind when im next chasing bits :)

cheers for the info guys.

First things first how good is all the window rubber? Secondly how far you restoring it? Ground up? Just slap a coat of paint? Also 2dr sedan doors fit all 1000 dashes fit except coupe nd ute dashes coupes have the uber sexy one and the ute don't have one at all (all the utes I've seen thus far and same with all the early early 1000's) if you can track down a complete coupe dash nd metal frame I'd look into doing that
My wagon rubber was #OOPS#ed so I cut out the split for the rear windows now what I'm doing with all the windows is making it like the hq front windscreen lay a bit of that sticky strip of rubber and place the windscreen nd windows on, save me trying to track down good rubber all I have to do is a lil
mod nd get a super window for the rear..
And how long till you need those bits? All my stuffs in storage so can't get it till atleast mid year, I stripped about 4 wagons all where #OOPS#ed and missing some stuff but I've got nearly everything

window rubber is pretty ratty, unfortunately. giving it a refresher but going to cover as many details as i can with the spares immediately available.
will look into dash conversion and stuff.

in the mean time, the engine is still for sale, i hadnt mentioned in the ad that a set of extractors are included, so i will now.

EXTRACTORS ARE INCLUDED

if the guy who contacted me named Ryan could get back to me, my phone is buggered and i cant send messages or phone people, so if you could call me back that would be great.

cheers
Todd
