Buy a LSD hemisphere for your H165 [rather thin on the ground these days]. Some have retro fitted the TRD H165 LSD, but the bearing carrier on the hemishere need to be modded to fit the nissan bearings in order to fit it in your H165 Housing. Other than that, I guess the most cost effective solution these days is to have a LSD diff assembly from another vehicle shortened to fit in the B120 rear end. Hilux or Borg Warner's from Falcons and R31's seem to be popular choices

eaisest way..... hmm you shouldn't swear like that:)The E##Y word always gets me in trouble...

Yeah try to find an LSD for the H165, but not easy to find.

Cutting down a BW from dunnydores from VN-VS (SS, Calias, Statesman got LSD std) or Falcoons EA-EL (and maybe upto BA. Wagons and utes had live axle) and R31 Skylines(Sillouete got LSD std, but not GTS-R[IRS], GX, or GXE).

They all have the Borg Warner diff assembly and all came with LSD options. Diff centres of different ratios are available at reasonable price, and a second hand units from wreckers are cheap enough.
Its the ~$1000 tag to get it shortened thats the killer, but you get a much stronger diff than the H165 could ever be, but it is also much heavier.

You also need to consider that you will need to change to larger rims to fit over the new brake setups plus other little issues. Not impossible, its been done heaps before, but not a bolt in operation.

If you are not running a BIG HP engine setup, then the H165 is more that suitable for a lightweight 1200 ute.

IMO, if you just want it for the "I have an LSD" cred, then i wouldnt bother.

I currently have a R31 skyline LSD cut down in my shed for Daisy, and that cost me around $1500 to buy, cut down, cleaned up, spring perches on and get the LSD rebuilt.
You could probally get a H165 LSD for that cash, if you can find one.
