That's a big f$%kin huffer Rob! What is it? 3076?

Those wheels will look awesome. What's the specs of your front suspension to fit them in? Have you got normal/Stanza/120Y struts?
I was gunna go 17X7 all round but would love to go 17X8's on the rear if possible. Will you need to roll the guards?
Keep it up, it's coming along really well.

hey shoota thanks mate,
yeah mate garrett gt35 rear looks small hopefully helps with lag.
front struts a 180b still need to cut em down new inserts, springs and coil over kit, need adjustable lower control arms and camber tops next to get em in the gaurds. guards definately need rolling and rear iner wheel wells will help for extra clearance.
holden rotors and caliper not sure old specs but their big almost to big, having trouble with engineers aproval with wheel, brake and suspension mods. to many rules mate cant see why their so picky only danger is the thing will go ass over tit and land on its roof if i jam the brakes!lol

Sweet build you have here rob. I am envious of your build and bling going into your car! Great looking project so far so keep the pics coming.

So eight inch wheels will fit the rear of the ute fine, mines lowered two inches but apart from that its stock.

appreciate the feedback guys, glad it gets the thumbs up.lol
plenty of pics to come fellaz, orderd the 4 link setup today aslo picked up the wheels tonight.
story behind these wheels is they were made for my donor ute, wasnt interested in them at the time because the rear quarters were cut big time so i thought they wouldnt fit hence the trial fit. the donor ute had the leaf springs moved in a 100mm and was tubbed to the rail. in saying that they still fit inside standard rear gaurds at that ride hieght but i'm not running leaf springs so i dunno if they would interfer with the 235 tyre. still gonna tub it to the rails and change the wheel well for future mods.
As for a colour at the moment i'm split between a nice bright white or silver but who knows!

cheers
rob
