would be real interested if you could machine a tooth pattern into it for a crank angle sensor like sss suggests, or at least be able to bolt it to the underdrive pulley??

Only way to machine that pattern would be with a mill and a dividing head/rotary table/CNC which is either time consuming or expensive.

The CNC once setup would do 10 pulleys in 2 hours (would include setup, programing etc) and at $120 an hour thats and expensive "timing" stator.
