yesterday i saw a record of 3 in one day, 2 70+ year olds driving original mint utes and an elderly couple in an orange sedan. i was in my holden flogadore i gave them all a wave and was stoked to see them i almost beeped and a big thumbs up out the window but didnt want to look like a dick. i rarly see many down my way or the southern suburbs. i know theres a guy in victor with 2 original utes in his shed accross from my mates house but they never get driven.

I had a 70 something year old lady come into work and somehow we started to talk about datsuns. She said she just donated her 1600 that she had since new to some club. Telling me how she used to i quote "Waste" guys at the lights in her days HAHA. saying 1600's can whoop anything back then because everyone had heavy commodores and 1600 was the lightest.

She was like 5 foot... My hero

There is an granny that cruises around in her, surprise surprise, "granny" spec coupe near my joint.

Mint, fully optioned with venetian, sunvisor etc.

Want to ask her that when she stops driving, let me know and will look after it for her..

See, that just shows you how not rare they are in your part of the world! I know I never see any 1200's driving around except for that one around the corner the other day which was the maybe 3rd I've seen in 6 years on the road.

You see 510's, pickups, roadsters, a few B210's & 210's but thats about it.

All the old lady cars must be at the bingo parlor or church.

Well I don't get too excited, I'm usually older than those 'really old' people you mention & It's me that's driving the 1200.
