hey guys,
getting a new housing soon, pulled the axles out this arvo. got me f&^#ed whats going on. the end of the diff housing has a lip and that spacer piece has a grove that mathes the lip, the spacer also has been pressed onto what looks to be a bush behind the bearing.
maybe the pics might help

that just looks like a major cluster f#$* they got the housing wrong and had to come up with this as a solution to the problem , where is the seal ? is there a O ring in that steel spacer behind the bearing?
