There are many advantages to each type of blasting, one major factor for me was that soda is extremely easy to get out of the chassis rails, seems etc.. Unlike abrasive blasting, sand, garnet etc soda can be washed out with water... I know people that spend days trying to get all the sand/ garnet out of there seems and rails.. Soda will not touch rust at all so if you think or know there is alot of rust in your car abrasive blasting would be the way to go... Or maybe even getting it dipped!! I have a sodablaster myself. That was another major reasons for me choosing it!! There is a product called " hold tight " which is designed to wash the residue away. I asked my sodablaster about this and all he said was " correct prep work " eg wire-wheel, scotch bright pad, degreaser etc.. I can let u know in a few months if me pant starts falling off, hahaha

my mate got his ute sodablasted and about a year later there's little rust spots coming thru the paint everywhere, there the size of a pin head and there everywhere. it has to be washed and prepped properly like smurf said
