I did my 1000 sedan (which was in storage for 30 years)
it was so opaque it was almost white yet it was factory
smurf blue it took me an hour on a 40 degree day like a
man possessed but I was ten years younger then...
hey wait thats your age now Don so whats your excuse!
get rubbing till you see your reflection after all your
arms will be just resting on your knees tomorrow due to
the boat sized steering wheels our little toys sport.

It is indeed a cool little cruiser. I have driven in pretty much for 10 days solid as the wagon was in getting the gas sorted and all the hose clamps they touched left loose. So I got to cruise Fang all week and I even took my dad for his first cruise in her on Saturday afternoon. It was funny really. He has certainly forgotten his grass roots. There was more whining from him than Fang. It's a bit noisey, The gearbox is whining, Have you replaced every single nut and bolt...

But nevertheless, The garage is now a fraction emptier now that the blue meanie has been taken home by it's owner. But the space was filled as it was cleared.

And for anyone who cares, my other project has now come home thanks to the massive effort of Andy, Chris and Daveo. Thanks heaps guys for taking the big road trip and bringing my motorbike over for me. It is very much appreciated. The project in question is my 1981 Honda CB750F.

So I'll see if I can get the bike up and registered before summer. Hopefully before November I'll be taking it for a spin.

"superhero" just normal fitness, its just your arms
are so rippling with protein it must be hard to get
them above your shoulders for too long.
Mine are Watanabe Magnesiums vs Ferguson Steelies :)

As for that Honda I knew you where an old 80s ricer.
A red 929 in the background the confusion grows.

-Apart from the whinging, The old man doing better?
He seemed alright and strong taking those photos
the other day. I thought who is that guy ready for
the convoy of children pulling out with their dattos!

Cheers Ivan. I'll need to join up with the VJMC to try and source some parts that I need to get it on the road. I've lost all the paperwork I got from the Healesville meet so I'll get online to sort all that out. It shouldn't need too much. It's the time I need to put into it.

D, it's my brothers 1973 RX-4. He's in Adslaide and organised the bike for me.

revhead001 Posted on: 2011/8/24 13:21
Fuel economy... I thought it was solar powered at one point. I put $20 in it before the cruise and it was just below full. I've done just over 200 miles and it's got about 1/8 th of a tank left according to the gauge.
