Its just happens that all your toys are grey or silver
whats the deal! :)

Will be good to compare its economy with the wagon on LPG :)

What comparison? Fang did 200 miles on about $25 of 95 and the wagon does about 200km on $30 of LPG. We're talking a car that uses nearly a third of the petrol but is only 1/5th the cubic capacity at only 1/3 the weight. Not good odds really. Compare apples with apples. Not apples with kiwi fruits.

No deal. My last project was orange and the ather before that was blue. You could say that all your project cars are 1000's... What's your deal??? Rhetorical question really. I know it's because you have impeccable taste.

I wish it was, just funny that Ive been after grey
1000s for quite some time and they are all coming out
of the woodwork now. Even Dallas from Ausrotary
has one on ebay now with my old b10 seats in it.
umm Love a grey vb10 with whitewalls and black steelies.
Grey is underrated and yet thats how I like it.

I took Fang out for a spin yesterday and caught up with Conehead. Who is generously donating some goodies that he has left over to the cause. Also I have kind of made up my mind to what fate lies in store with Fang.

Seeing as restoration has never been my thing, it looks like I am going to modify a 1000 engine. I plan to get some headers made up for it, I have a single weber setup for it, while the 45dcoe is probably a bit overkill for what I want I'll look into sourcing a 40dcoe for it and maybe build a 3.9:1 alloy centre diff for it.For now I'll leave the drum brakes etc on it as well as the 12 inch wheels.

You are very limited with the A10
An a12 with 76mm bores for 1300cc
and 45mm weber will be perfect not
to mention few things will touch it.
Extra money for weber could be spent
on rebuild parts for a12. A13 is the
best balanced A series (revs & torque)
with massaged round port head.

Well Fang got a delivery today. Some 13 x 5.5 Watanabe's from Otomoto. A very good fit too. Only $380 delivered. Great value and they weigh under 5kg each. I popped one on the dunger thou to check if they'd clear the ball joints ok and no probs. It's like they were made just for Fang.

I don't think I'll doo too much more to Fang before the cruise. Maybe tidy up the left door a little to cover the missing paint. I might be taking my CB on the cruise too. A couple blokes from work will be riding in the cruise.

Not if you're on train tracks.
