So I felt like lowering the front end today, so I got out there, removed the spring pads and chopped a little out then reset the bushes and drove it around the block for a feel. Went good. I liked it.
![]() I liked it so much that I thought I'd lower the rear, although I don't have any lowering blocks I figured I'd do the old flippy trick... Whoops! ![]() So now I think I might either get some lowering blocks or get the leaves reset. Dang. It looks so good though.

How does it handle Don? usually lower at the rear with hardened springs handles amazing but never tried flipped springs on 1k, I did on a 73 rolla & ford xm but was awful.
The escorts in the UK if you watch some vids of ashphalt rallying youll see all sit like your last pic lower at the rear and seems to help with weight transfer/balance.

did you just flip the rears or reshuffle the order too in the pack, i found by reshuffling the fliped one, it gave different ride height and slight handeling differences.

definately looks the goods... but with no suspension travel and a bumpstop likely to be very close id say it'll not be handling too well

I think the car height looks just right. The car itself looks good.

Go for a reset leaf spring stack. Replace the friction pads between the each leaf and the ride is so much better. I remember when I did mine the ride was improved 10 fold, You could actually feel the rear end working through bump and rebound smoothly.
