Ok so story goes, a cleaner at the center i used to work at, smashed my side mirror and scratched my sedan pretty deep with a leaf blower. i caught him doing it, and was (un)happy to re-imburse me for the damage. i asked a few times afterwards for the money (a minimal amount) just to get a 2nd hand mirror off a friend.

this was put off, and long story short i was referred to his employer (as he was contracted), whom i was informed would cover the cost.
She asked for an invoice or quote for the damage.

Now, i'm not going to pay for a set of mirrors off b-projects (the only OEM nissan source i know of, that could maybe offer an invoice) unless i know she will cough up.

so my question is, does anybody else know of any other route i can go, as dundee off here, nor b-projects themselves will respond to the numerous emails i've sent.

she said with an invoice she would be happy to send the money to my bank account.

any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like the employer is sympathetic but just needs something in writing to cover it off from her end. Print off the ad on eBay and write a short email explaining that if they buy the part, you are happy to do the rest yourself. Any auditor will be happy with that!

Thanks stefano, I hadnt thought of it exactly like that, with All the trouble I went through to get to this point. I think I will attach the eBay listing to an email, and say I am happy to pay for the othe mirror (sold in pairs) and installation, as long as the cost of shipping and 1 mirror is covered.

Thanks! Hopefully I'm successful.

Hey mate sorry to hear about your damage. Sounds like a bit of frusteratation there. If you are looking to sell the passenger's mirror new or used give me a PM. Good luck with everything.
