Damn, I just found this thread.
Dotgroen the boksie looks really good, glad to see another person not afraid of some manufacturing, as it became way to common to build cars from direct fit parts.

My brother more or less has the same idea in mind for a trigger wheel, looks good.

What does machining cost on side shafts more or less.

I went out to buy a set of the old wheels but in 14", unfortunately they didn't have any stock, fortunately the guy mentioned that they just got in a new set of wheels and that it was their only set. So I had a look, and they couldn't have been any better.

So without further ado pichas of the new wheels...

Love the multi spoke design

Fills the arches nicely, but I might consider adding a small spacer, though the disk must still go on and that's another 6mm or so, will see...

So this afternoon, after a lekka braai at Killarney, I went and fetched the Boksie.

Hitched to the Tucson, if it wasn't that that green thing chowed so much fuel, it'd be very, very close to if not at the top of my list of favourite car's I've ever owned...

It's not just the camera making the colour change like that, when light hits it, it's light blue, when it's in the shade it's darker blue. Almost asif it has a flip in the paint. I'd come to the decision that I like the car's look with these wheels on. Even though they are supposed to be bakkie wheels... So I'm going to sell these 13" ones, and get a set of 14" in the same model. They are also about an inch wider then the 13's, so they should fill the arches a bit more, will add spacers if not.

And finally back in it's cave, nothing that goes in this cave comes out the same...

I'll take some pics of the underside when I roll him out again.

One last one...

Finished assembling the struts and the leave spring tonight. Tomorrow evening we'll go fit the suspension and the car and it'll head home. I still just need to go pick up some small parts from plating, hopefully they are done otherwise I'm screwed again...

Some of the last bits I picked up on Friday from plating. Sommer had the swaybar and it's brackets plated, looks good and no maintenance other than cleaning required.

Rear wheel fit in the arch. These are still the old 13" wheels, and they look ok'ish, but it needs some width. I like the look of the wheels with the car though, so what I'm going to get is a set of the same wheels but in 14". They are also an inch wider, so should fill the arches nicely, plus I have a crap load of 14" semi's lying at home still, then I have something to do with them. I don't like big wheels on old cars, it't like dating you cousin, by law nothing wrong with it, but you yourself know it's wrong...

And that Jackie is an expert at dodging photos, I tried every angle to catch him around the car, but he just disappeared out of the shutter each time.

As ddgonzal said, the 120Y is a straight bolt on. You only need to also get the 120Y brackets and rubber bushings. The minor differences there are in the bars is not a problem. The pushrods that operate the swaybar is more than capable to take up the small difference in width.

The B210 swaybar is a straight bolt-on for the B110 or ute/bakkie/pickup. Bar and bushings are a set.

510 ones are the same width, but the sides go back farther. After I saw the ZA brochure, the next time I saw a 510 I measured them.
