With a friend we wanted to release a kit to dress up Aussie Taximmuters into woodie styled cruisers. We started with his ride thinking we could encourage his young cousins to change their attitudes opposite of the wanna be drunken superV8 driver image and then kill themselves like some of the many youth driving these overpowered taxis.
We thought lets stick on wood mahogany w/ pine colour frames, chrome protector trimmings, 60s steelies & whitewalls, old boat steering wheel, pipe holder, adhesive chrome bumper overriders, mirror covers to allow peep mirrors & custom front end w/ chrome grille/lights.
After a slab we got as far as muddy sides from turning it into a paddock chariot and eventually rolled it like a spliffy by Muhammad Ali at the height of his shaking.

My father in law has nearly finished his 320kW Windsor V8 (Ford Tickford TE50 engine) conversion into his formerly Commo V6 powered 1200 ute but I don't think he'd be able to afford the fuel to drive it the 2 hours to get here!
