#51 Re: Melbourne cruise- it's been way too long so :14th August- venue?

So will it be a short cruise and meet, or a long cruise? Eltham is a nice enough start point. Mik, you can ride the train with Mr Jefferson... Tom doesn't frequent this site. It's beneath him. He's secretly a bit of a 1600 elitist.

Although I don't mind north, out Mickelham rd to Somerton Rd and throug to Sunbury the back way.

East through any of a half dozen or more roads either through Kinglake to Yarra Glen or Through Healseville and across to Toolangi. Serious roads.

But I'm happy for a short cruise and chat. If I have the thou going I don't think she'll be up for a massive cruise.

Youll be surprised how good the thou will cruise.
Just like in the late 60s and 70s really ;)
I drive mine everyday atm with no carpet or insulation
just a good heater while performing ongoing mods to it.
Way better than a Bike in winter thats for sure.

Eltham sounds good to me but not fussed and the car's actually assembled at the moment. That weekend is still free to.

We dont have to have Dinner maybe some hot water
in thermos, tea, coffee, biscuits, crisps or whatever.
Otherwise been a Saturday usually Eltham is quite
busy with people doing the they missed out on
during the week, so we could meet at the Chai Tent
at St Andrews Market? Can park next to Pub and then
head off through Kinglake its a good run.

As it says 14th august- DV mini railway- theres parking out the front in a service road area. Time to be set closer to the date.
