Keep going.
You'll find that you think you're not doing much and then things will start to fall in place Good work

Long overdue update.
Got the Fuel feed system all finished, manifold all welded up. Megasquirt installed, and wired up, with relays & fuses etc. Vacuum manifold all plumbed in etc. hooked up basic inputs like TPS, VR Sensor & injectors etc (O2, temp, and ECU driven spark will come on line down the track) have done fuel flow tests etc. Fired it up at weekend, but couldnt get it to run at all. Played round with some fuel setting before corrupting all my firmware code I think. so ended up spending a few hours reflashing the ECU code, and uploading new tuner studio software and the likes. got it all communicating again, and it fired up again, before I flattened the battery. I charged up the battery overnight, and tonight I hooked up temp exhaust system tonight and got it semi running (have a few more issues to work through, before i even attempt to tune) Start up video below, for those interested. http://youtu.be/oCgWkJbDs2U Want to get it running a bit better, before I pull the motor and running gear out to get the engine bay painted. After a few teething problems last week, I have managed to get it running today.
So stoked for it to finally make some music! My EFI / ITB dream, has taken a huge amount of time & $ to bring to reality. From seeing a V8 Lexus motor on youtube about 5 years ago, I decided to go EFI / ITB A series on my coupe. At times I was over it, and was ready to throw it away, but I am glad I have stuck with it. I am pretty proud to finally get it running.... Be interesting to see what sort of HP it is putting out, once it is all tuned and sorted. It is running in a base tune only, which is very rich. And my default ignition maps will need some work (running wasted spark setup, with coils driven by onboard drivers in the megasquirt ECU) Here is a youtube link of it making some noise this afternoon: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXLymsjttoA&feature=youtu.be Here is a link for a quick walk-around http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujueMCih-GY&feature=youtu.be You can view topic.
