I want to change on the 120y 2door the door window rubbers or wheather strip between the window glass where it disapears down into door on the outside.
At present there is a crome strip that attaches to the edge of the door and holds the rubber wheater strip againsed the glass.I want to replace this with just a rubber type.
Has anyone done this and what type did ya use. cheers bazz

So you wish to remove the chrome strip, but still retain the weatherstripping?

the original rubber wheather strip on the crome has gone to god, so when replacing I was thinking of getting rid of the crome and replacing with a new rubber only wheatherstrip.

I haven't heard of anyone modifying this.

my rubbers are wearing out to they have shrivled up i want to keep the chrome strip but need new rubber are they available new??

took mine to Rare Spares ( at St Marys NSW) they had heap of profiles but none for 120y 2door sedan. Had one for 2door coupe but was a differant profile then the sample I had, BUGGA

Nissan sells the rubber with the chrome moulding only.

The inside rubber is sold by itself.
