Haha country bumkins ,im in man du raaah not muntagin haha

Yea mandurah bus charters do it

Well mine might be easyer than bens being a 1200 and the engine being a bolt in ,but still the carbs are a problem

Who should I get to insure this thing ?

Why are the carbs a problem ?
If it can pass a 4 gas test it meets emissions for the year

How about you ask someone at the pits.... or at MBC
Or just front up

As for insurance... bend over and grab your ankles

With upgraded brakes you will need it engineered for sure ( correct me if I'm wrong please).

Thats a good point but then im running a set up that is bolt on ,no fab work so I might not need a cert for that ,not sure though

Well it looks like ill have to get it engineer to go over it and tell me what the go is ,was talkin to mike tonight about maybe putting an air box on it ,just so I can get rego with my carbys

the rules have either changed or are changing that all old cars going to be licensed must meet todays standard in emissions and not the year of manufacture so as i said before ring up the tech section at welshpool and find out the facts. they will also give you a number of an engineer that can look at it too, but will most probably be sam as jack apgar isnt doing it anymore after his stroke

When I got my ute engineered the process was you fill out the modification application with what you want to do they will send you back a letter saying that you can do it and what standards it has to meet with a list of engineers yours shouldn't be a problem with A15 with twins. You are better of getting the Tech section to tell you what testing it has to pass.My engineer wanted mine to do emissions test we argued for a week or so rang tech section and asked about it and said the test is not listed on approval letter you dont have to do it. Which was good I didn't want to spend up 2 grand at Kosteci's. With engineers cert guys at pits didn't bother driving it just had to wait 3 hours to write report
This was in 2008 the engineer was $440
