Either way, the mirrors are only a small distance away considering how long the Datsun 1200 is so if you're worried get the broad ones like in the picture you uploaded.

I reckon go straight for the JDM look, a little mainstream but there are sorts of different styling things you can do. Stu's (Adelaide lad) well on his way with his ute, well worth a look.

I dont know about you fellas but I cant see crap all in my mirrors without bobing my head around. they are too close, cant have my elbow on the door either because its all I would see. Fenders are a must within the next week for me.

fender mirrors are great, except in heavy heavy rain, IMHO. literally zero blind-spot.

I have the genuine GX mirrors, and theyre fitted exactly to the factory spec's, to tell you the truth they arent the best to see out of, especially when theyre frosted over or when its raining. But they look the #OOPS#!

i used Rain-X on my fender mirrors so the mirrors are clear in the rain. frost problem also eliminated :)

They took a while to get used to them, But I do like the advantage of being able to see cars that are beside you just over your shoulder, but typically cant be seen on the centre re view mirror. And they look awesome.
