Which part do you need?
Inside lock, outside lock, latch or striker?

The B120 diagram here is almost identical to the Coupe, except that the insulator (80504F) is not used except on newer B120. The part numbers are mostly the same as Coupe, except for the latch and striker.

As long as drivers one works it's perfect for a daily.

EBay has sets but I can't justify $100 a pair

I bought the set from the Aussie guy in Sydney that are "keyed alike" so you have one key for door lock, ignition and I'll modify the boot lock barrel for the fuel door.
A petty thing I know but it s#$ts me to have to fumble around for the right key!
$125 is pretty good value I reckon. You can also then get the modern style Nissan keys cut to suit like this-

I know this thread is old but does anyone know where to get the door locking mechanism?

Mine has shat itself in the coupe and the passenger door won't lock without it.

Mine wouldnt lock for the longest time until I loosened the plastic nut on the rod off the outer door handle inside the door. Try that and see.

Does anybody know whether or not the locking mechanisms are the same in all 1200s?

Am I correct that the doors are different for 4dr sedans, coupes and utes? I'm going to try and source a new mechanism but I need to know whether ute mechanisms will work in a coupe?

I now know that the locking mechanisms are different for utes and coupes, as the doors are a different size, the mechanism is larger in the coupe to suit the door.

Fortunately a locksmith could fix the stuffed one.
