10W-30 is good for just about any climate.

For the B310, Nissan release this chart and later started fitting it under the bonnet.

Good choice. I was thinking 20W-50 was "best" of those on the Nissan chart, but the Penrite HPR 30 is even better at 20W-60.

I have just re built an A15, mild cam and a bit of head porting, It is new and still tight, what do you guys suggest I use for oil. I am told Penrite is the go.. What Visco do you suggest ?
It is running at 180fh when driving but getting to 200-210 on fast idle sitting still.
Is this to hot ? I know a new motor is tight and runs hot but is this OK ?

Cheers,
LRS
