i run an eboost street for my sr, same as eboost 2 but less la di da (not necessary) functions. something to do with less aux outputs but still same functionality in controlling boost

you will need to retune anyway as boost will hit earlier and harder, plus you'll need to play around a bit to get it to do what you want.

turn your boost down a shade for the cruise id say

Yep I'm with lachie, eboost2 ftw! Might have trouble finding one before the weekend for $400 tho.
99% of turbo engines running a boost tee will suffer from boost spike.. Obviously the higher the boost and spike the worse it is.. Only way to tame it a bit is getting a higher pressure gate spring.

boost spike hey- sure its not the wasgate spring? how about taking it back to have less boost dialed in, does it happen on 16psi?

If you can stretch your budget or can find a good second hand one, IMO you can't go past an eBoost2. So much functionality and of the two I've had I've never had a problem with them.

I'm looking at buying a electronic boost controller to fix my boost spike problem, wat I want to know is how good they are and what brands ppl would go with? Looking at spending around the $400 mark as long as it's gonna do the job! I currently am running a turbosmart boost t but at 18psi it spikes to 22psi and causes my car to ping, so any info/help would be grate!! And want to get one b4 the weekend so I can run it on the cruise this weekend
