Cool. Looking forward to seeing this done.
Will ditch the A12A in my B210 later in favour of the original L14 (with L18 bits inside of course :D)

Reviving an old thread haha here's a video to get everyone a bit excited!

http://youtu.be/amgP05HX3Xs

Went and seen the engineer today, come across a few potential issues:
- main concern is that because the engine is a 50% power (i thought he may have meant capacity but he said power) increase, the car needs to have a collapsable steering column. So first question is do they? Its a 74 model as well.
- speedo being in the road of a few warning lights (autometer electric unit is mounted on the steering column shroud)
- get reverse lights working as i cant seem to fit a switch in, may have to set something activated by the gear stick (thinking along the lines of a proxy switch etc)
- get the blow by breather hoses hooked up to the air filters, easy done.

Thats about it i think, I'll try to keep you posted as best I can.

Josh

That's not a massive list. Good stuff. Check my build for reverse switch idea I stole off Levey.

unfamilia had a read of your thread, saw your part on the microswitch and got me thinking. I am electrician so went to the local wholesaler and they recommended a jaycar product. at $3.50 i cant complain, as long as finding somewhere to mount it wont be an issue it will be ideal

stupid image code wouldnt work, but heres the the link: http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=SM1039
