awesome looking car! Makes me miss my old L18 powered 1200. I was getting all excited about it as I read through the ad - until I got to the price. That's all I could get for Andrew's monster CA18DET 1200 coupe!

Just out of curiosity what con rods is this engine using? Where can i read more about this engine build? Do you have a thread about it somewhere?

Just from reading your discription makes me wonder how awsome that engine must be! I want to build an engine like this for my 180B coupe...

i am wanting to do the the same thing but with a 1200 ute, i have the engine and everything but just wondering if you could explain how you modified the cross member and engine mounts?

Another member had this set up and made x member. As for the engine it's an ex rally motor.

Hi Guys,

This car was sold to me about 3 months ago. It is definitely not for sale.

The car is registered, but not engineered for the modifications. I intend to engineer the vehicle before next rego. Re: the mounts, I didn't do the conversion so I can't really comment. I'd just suggest using the Tech Wiki and the search function. There has been a bit written about the conversion.
