Thanks for the info Dundee, I just googled a pic of one. Unfortunatly the compressor housing outlet has a 3 bolt flange instead of 2. I think the 5 bolt patern on the turbine outlet flange is unique on the R32/33`s aswell. I`d have to modify both too make it fit.

Ive got it back at 11Psi to keep it together this weekend. I`ll upgrade it after then. I think the uprgrade kit is only $300 and it comes with parts to do 2 turbos. Aparently its a DIY job. See how i go.

Thanks for the warnings.

Another update,

Yes, the ceramic turbos fly apart and mine did at winton.
Ive just refitted the repaired BB turbo and retuned it.

Ive also increased the boost to 15Psi.

Its now making close to 170Hp atw.

I ran this engine at Philip Island on the weekend. Performed well all weekend and ran it as high as 20 Psi in the second race. I`ll have to run it on the dyno at 20psi to see what power it was making. Probably around 135Kw ATW.

Best time of 1:54.38 during Friday practice. Best during the 10 lap final was 1:57.
Im still 4 seconds off the class lap record, but i was happy considering it was my first time racing there.

I made a few other changes before heading to the Island to help safe up the engine.
-Added an oil cooler to get temps back to 100c(were going well over 130c)
-Fitted cooler thermostat(from 82c down to 71c)
-Fitted higher pressure radiator cap(16Psi up from 13)

Its a GT2860R (707160-5) It was originaly sized to suit the twin cam conversion engine.

I dont have any video this time. I was going to mount a camera but ran out of time.
It looks a bit tougher now, ive flared the rear quarters and made a kevlar/carbon front spoiler for it.
