thats why I love the round ports heads they are underrated!
If corollas can make 155hp atw with their puny round ports why not!

clive cam... any specs? no ARP conrod bolts or e85? impressive

damm rite the round port underated you can still grind out some nice ports on them. I never used to run any arp bolts but i want to circut race this year so i just rebuilt the engine with arp head studs , rod and flywheel bolts .

Great to see a 1200 punching WELL above it's weight. Way too many front wheel drive cars in under 2L ipra. What diff u running? Myself and Aztec both still running ute diff but it's getting scary and they may break soon. The main reason yours and Aztec cars are fast is they are lite and balanced but still a s#%t load of power and tourqe. Mine has L20 and is really understeery on high speed corners but only doing hillclimbs these days anyway. Would be interested to see more info on your car. Well done on achievements (getting a 1200 to the front).

Hi Simon, Loved the videos. Kane is certainly pretty handy behind the wheel!

Here is another video showing a summery of the weekend including interviews and in car footage from diferent cars (including some from the datto).

Kane`s a good pedaler!

Great vids! I wonder if Kane could have improved on his best time if he had more time in your car, no cars in the way compared to Mark Ruta and without the weight of that little 3 foot blond mechanic in the last vid that disappeared under the front of the car when you were working on it :).

Im sure he could have gone faster in time. Mark Ruta`s car makes 350+ hp so the A12 was doing alright.

Its not realy a HP track. and the Datto has good corner speed.

Jnr was helping me fit refit the front spoiler after changing the crank trigger. Gotta teach em young!

We will see Jnr one day beating his dads time in the 1200 :)
I reckon by then itll have a works A series with 350hp,
maybe compounded twin scroll Borg W turbo and bike head.
