Be good to catch up Stu.

I`d like to put together another A12 with bigger valves and ports. I`ve got some quad TB`s that might get a go aswell.

I`ll just keep this current engine as a spare.
Before i pull it out i`ll do a couple of dyno ramps at 20 Psi to see what it makes.

Did you ever get the bike head up and running?

It looks purposeful & has made many inc. myself to re-evaluate charged A series. Most peeps looking at it would say wow wheres the A12! I got to see the clean engine bay when I lowered the lil A12 in by hand and the attention to detail for a race car is inspiring.

Simon I know youve made better manifolds since this one for your bike head but do you think that you could improve the manifold plenum further? eg. tapered from throttle body to dual plenums or other if you go quads? There seems to be some loss of flow & equality in that section. You could prob use your bike head plenum section for better flow?

edit:
It would require reverse throttle opening so air flow is concentrated at the top and with the help of a small ramp on the bottom just as it meets the wide entry to the plenum and 10cm after throttle opening (I couldnt illustrate it the raised ramp insert).

Ive put the bike head engine aside till i get the chassis sorted and lots of seat time for me.
Its nearly ready for assembly tho. still have to get the pistons fly cut and make the timing case.

D, I did the bodywork but had a friend paint it for me. So i cant claim all the credit for the clean look.
Do you have a welder and grinder? If you do, maybe make a manifold and put some of your theories to test.
Good welders come up secondhand on Graysonline, sometimes for only a few hundred.
