#1 FS: 1200 coupe shell and various bit
mcgee Posted on: 2011/9/5 0:25
Hi guys,
I have purchased a 1200 coupe shell but don't want to get distracted from my main project.
I think the shell is in pretty good condition but would probably suit someone who is looking for a race/rally car or a nice street project.
the shell is fairly clean of rust and dint's
Areas of concern:
prime issues are forward sections of both sills - both have been cut out and would need repair,
small repairable damage on the passenger rear 1/4 pannel - Plasma cut line that will need to be welded back up.
Spare wheel area has surface rust (not through the floor though).
Rest of the shell is in various stages of primer and paint. Actually the shell is in pretty good condition and does not have rust in some of the usual areas.
A lot of the interior brackets have been removed and the chassis has been stich welded.
Shell would come with doors, boot lid and a set of guards and all glass except front windscreen (And anything else of interest out of the boxes of parts that came with it. Shell has compliance plates.
It is not rolling and is taking up space in the back of my trailer so happy to help move it within a reasonable distance.

I managed to collect a few boxes of parts along with the shell a lot of trim bits and pieces. If you looking for something let me know and i'll have a look. I haven't catalogued all the bits yet but got through a fair bit of it. Not much in the way of mechanical parts, really only trim bits.

I will take pics of the shell tonight when I get home and post them up. I am working on Cataloguing the parts but it takes time so bare with me please.
I am located in Newcastle. If anyone is interested let me know, I don't really have the storage for the shell but don't want to scrap it as these are getting harder to come by. Am a realist WRT dollars (i.e not expecting much for the shell). So someone can pick up a bargin here.

Cheers

Bryan

sorry no coupe consoles.
Cheers about the trailer.
I'm thinking around $300 for the shell but happy to discuss.
