different kill switches hidden so one for fuel one for spark and one for starter. inhibitor switch hidden and one on the clutch pedal... or even become big get a few tats and then no little cocksucker will touch your car... but at the end of the day its only a datto pretty desperate if someone steals it... if your so paranoid why have the car. no matter what you do if they want the car they'll take it simple

This is a wacky idea but if the whole fuse box was connected with a plug you could take the whole thing with you, try hot wire a car with the fuse box removed! I haven't done it. I keep mine locked in a shed.

my lead plan and your rotor plan involve risk of damaging the coil :)

Usually just a "club" on the steering wheel and I drape a towel over the dash.
Since I've moved my battery to the trunk, I added a cutoff switch and hid it in plain sight on the rear panel near the license plate. I'll usually turn that off if I'm feeling a little paranoid. If I'm feeling real paranoid, I'll just pop the distributor cap and take the rotor with me.

thanks for the idea's all, its a electronic ignition (A15 stock dist.) so the cig lightewr idea wont work although sounds like a good one. I'm curious about the brake one Sidedraught has, is it available over the counter or home built? That sounds like a great way to make sure it stays in one place.

I have a device that fits in the brake line, you put your foot on the brake then turn the key, brakes locked on, can't drive it, can't push it, can't tow it.

If you have a points ignition system then it is pretty hard to beat this one. You tap into your negative coil pulse to your coil, nearly all dattos have this under the dash, and tap into it and connect it to the cigerette lighter. You will need to disconnect power from the cig lighter to have this anti theft device. When you push the cig lighter in, it grounds the coil pulse and disables the ignition. You can't even hard wire the dizzy. Unfortunately if you do this with electronic ignition you will blow the module. As I found out after an ignition upgrade on my old Torana. It's free and almost foolproof. As the breaker points contact the power is absorbed by the cig lighter coil and dissapated safely.

Two small steel (angle iron) cleats, drilled then welded to the brake pedal and clutch pedal + padlock.

i slightly pulled the coil to dizzy plug lead, so that it looks connected, but electrically not.
