Pretty much like Sus but with more adjustability
I first became interested in them when in Japan a Jaguar had six of similar looking CV carbs back then I thought they looked like SUS :)

I have a set of Keihin Flat Slides on my car and really like them............................they're especially good for left hand drive cars as you don't have to move the master cylinder. Mine came off an A series powered sports racer, the class here in the US is D-sports racer, these folks have know all got to fuel injected bike motors so the Flat Slides come up for sale cheap.
Jetting is pretty straight forward, because of my bike racing background I was more familiar with slide carbs then say Weber DCOE carbs, but you'll need to do a little work to get them perfect for the street. I will also confess the Keihins are works of art and absolutely look the business..........I'm not often one for zooty parts but confess these are ones I love having on the car. Tom

I thought carbs from a 1L bike would be too big to work on an A-series of any kind?
A mate on here had 600cc bike carbs on a standard 300000km a12 and didnt need to change jetting or anything. They were keihin CVK's though, not sure on bore size. Does anyone know what hose you can use to join the carbs to your manifold that wont melt or swell when it gets a bit of petrol on it? So far I've heard radiator hose is #OOPS#e and blue silicone intake hose is worse. Don't forget you will need a fuel regulator to wind down the pressure to about 2 pound (can't remember the value I was told but it was lower than a regular carb) as the carbs are originally gravity fed.

That's all fine and dandy if you fart $100 notes lol
I got a set of 2001 Kawasaki ZZR600 CVK Keihin's for $175 tonight. A mate has an adjustable reg for me. Just need to hack up one of the spare a12 mani's i've got and find some 40mm fuelproof hose now.
