Anyone know where you can get a Race-Technology DASH2 LCD Display in australia and what they sell for roughly???

Can you run this display on an old school engine setup (no efi) ?

Adaptronic in Sydney is importing them, seem like a reasonable price too.
Meridian Motorsports is also a re-seller.

Cheaper to buy direct from Race Technology in UK...given the exchange rate. They seem pretty helpfull to.

DON_1200 I don't know if you have ordered it already, but if you want to use it on a racing car, seriously consider saving for the DL1 and Screen combo. If you think the Dash is a trick bit of kit, the DL1 is magic, especially if you use a nice management setup that you can communicate via serial or can bus.

Are you going to use it a a stand alone unit with sensors attached directly to it, or linked to a mangement unit?

levey, yes it can be used with non efi engines, they sell something called a RPM Pickup cable which connects to one of the plug leads, but to take full advantage of these type of screens you need allot of supporting bits, like speed pickups to calculate gear position, extra sensors as they can't be shared between gauges and screen, this is where the nice managements come into place, if the management can comm via serial or can bus, then you only need one set of sensors for the management.
