i have a cheap alloy one, its CA or SR, not sure, looked like it would fit, guy i got it off said it leaked around the top edge of the funnel section where the radiator cap goes in.... but that doesnt make any sense cause thats not where the cap seals

if you keen i can go look which type, im not gonna use it

I never had problems with my ca alloy radiator only started to heat up in traffic if I didn't have the fan on, it never got hot!! And that was in when I was sticking 17psi through my poor little a12 and then 10psi a14 and my mild a14 and a few stock a12's never noticed anything apart from it being too tall

I suppose I can't yet vouch for the alloy on reliability since the ute is not on the road yet .... not even taken up to temp as I don't have any fans either. - but at $260 it was a lot cheaper than getting the EXA one re-cored and modded (over $400)

Nick.... the RAD is a FENIX one ... see my build thread

alloy + cheap = more problems

my rad guy mentioned the cracking of tanks, wasnt a problem with mine hence 88

i would still get yours done... you have all the mounts and hoses and things done, 130 for essentially a brand new rad and no overheating is a good price!

Well got 2 quotes fir rodding rad, $120 and 175, cause plastic tanks, usually have to replace tanks at same time as they crack due to age- crap!!!!! Looks like better to find another rad then

Cut some out need to cut more- I think ut is air flow related- needs more air flow when stationary- fine when moving

Don't think that combination is suppose to overheat. Did you cut the old radiator support panels to give more airflow. I think you must get the radiator cleaned.
