Yep clear over base is the way to go, may try the cheese cutters again they smoke up good.

Still have to paint under the car black, the springs stand out real bad in that photo.

That looks stunning you seen this is the difference between a professional paint job and a home made paint job!!!!! Excellent colour love red cars thou I will never drive one myself, thats a real kalahari Ferrari!!!!LOL
