You wont need me to convince you to go lpg like I said in the other thread if I had my time again I would stick with petrol. What year is your 1200? If you havent got the z18 ecu you will need to use an aftermarket one of adapt a ca or sr one. And then you may find it cant be engineeed thats why I went lpg due to no emission rules so you can basicly do as you please and stay legal

Stay petrol for ease, LPG only easy for emissions

Cool thanks for the advice mate. I'll have to come and have a look at your setup to try and convince me to go LPG.

But at the moment it's looking like I'm gonna go petrol!

Good luck with the combo mate. If your chasing power but throw the standard exhaust manifold in the bin. They dont flow really well and wont support over 140rwkw.

I think he's spent some time on that block and done some work to it. I don't think he wants to part ways with it

Ok a decision has finally been made in terms of the engine.

I am going with a L Series / Z Series Combo. I believe they are sometimes refered to as LZ.

Going to use L16 Block and Rods. Block bored to 85mm. L20B Crank, Z20E pistons. Will be using everything from the Z18ET Head & Up.

Picked up Z18ET head, inlet manifold, timing case with all components, turbo exhaust manifold, t3 turbo, injectors and the alloy turbo rocker cover for $250.

Need to source L16 Block & Rods and L20B crank of anyone knows where I can get this stuff cheap?

Unfortunately this car is now for sale as something very urgent has come up in my family and this is the first to go. See Classifieds section or eBay
