Well the 610 motor has a dry port u67, the 710 had a wet port n58. But the l20b runs great, the pan has alittle extra clearence but ither than that youd never tell.

That's great! How do you like driving the 610. Is it the L20B engine?
610 and 710 have nearly the same engine, they even use the same manifolds.
610 was made for the Datsun dealers, and 710 was made for the Nissan dealers in Japan. (610 was sold in Japan as the Datsun Bluebird-U, while 710 was sold as the Nissan Violet). That's why they are so similar, good old badge-engineering.

Im curently running a 610 motor in my 710, with u67 but a dry intake one. I was just stateing that I have an odball wet mani one. Is there some wiring differences other than the oil pump sending unit, and water temp sensor?

quick burn 12v fuses are not fireproof like fusible links. If you have another massive electrical problem they can catch fire as they blow and so burn some of the wiring. It may never happen again, but it's like insurance.
Get the Fusible Link from Nissan, the 610 wiring harness uses a U67 -- about $10 fron Nissan. Nissan put them right at the battery cable, about 3 inches from the battery so it protects the entire harness.
If you have added an extra harness for the headlights, use a second one of the same type.

I wanted to ad the links back in, and still can, but I cant find the amp value of them any where. So I used quick burn 12v fuses, and tested them inline against equal value links. The fuses popped first, regardless wich side I fed for load.

Sounds fun.
Regarding relays in the engine compartment, that's how most people do it. Not too many fit them under the dash.
Even if you have a Fuse Box near the battery, you should still use a Fusible Link like the newer Nissans. The Fusible Link is special fireproof (fuses are not) and protects the wiring from burning.
