Yes they had zilla, and they also had removed all the tape in the worst areas.
It eventuly grounded out on the chassis in side of the rail. What I should have done, in hindsight, is pull the relays in under the dash.... Dont feal like redoing it all again lol so mybe down the road i will. If I IR swap it I could probly mount the horn relay and the fuse box I put inplace of the links in th rail, and clean the whole bay of non essitial wires.
Also I got a lil somin somin, I got a l20b block I had in storage out. Its bored for z flattops, and my nos u67 are soon to be mated to dellorto's's
On another note my u67 is a wet mani style, some said to me they dont usualy have passeges, and my other 2 dont.
I didnt check the size of the dellorto's but if there real big I always got these su's ive had for ever.

had a major elec fault that led to many fried out wires and components

But shes back on the road again!
I didnt hack and splice and tape crap in, I replace each wire one at a time, and repinned each plug. Took a couple days of keeping at it but my lights realy work now, brghter than ever!
