My 1200 coupe sports sedan that is under construction
is getting a F20C power plant, six speed gear box and a IRS
rear with R200 centre.

Should be a bit of fun once finished

A great choice. I don't recall that ever being fitted to a driver 1200 bit only to drag cars.

looks like two LZ connected together

Hey what about the Volvo 4.4 60-degree V8, would that fit in a 1200, they did well in supercar, should be less expensive than this one

would love the volvo 5Ltr version on the superv8s
that is a work of art how they use a modded factory
engine vs all the other custom blocked non factory v8s

Well the 4.4 liter is now in the wreckers. Makes 315 hp all-alloy only weighs 419 pounds. Might be smaller than the Rover V8 which has found its way into a few Datsuns

I think that is factory full spec ready to drop into a Volvo DD but without the power steering, air con and some other pulleys, lightweight flywheel and custom front crank pulley theres another 60-80lbs off there.
