i will check if there is any, coz im sure it was not released here. we didn't have any b110, b310, or b10 or any old sunnies that were sold from the dealership.

i started looking for parts. since it is hard to look for new ones, i went to visit a surplus shop to check if i can scavenge something. Lucky, I was able to acquire a complete dash with all the guages and covers.

hi jose, you can do however you wish. The Japan-market came with 'S' and 'Sunny' badges, while export models came with 'D' and 'Datsun' badges. They didn't have a "1200" badge, but many Tokyo owners fit ones to the front even so.

so this will mean i should use all sunny badges on the grill and steering wheel, not the D or datsun and will leave the tailgate blank (no badges or sticker?) will that keep my look within the 78-81 range?
i also have a datsun 1200 script emblem for the tail gate, but i dont want to mix up things so im making sure. thanks ddgonzal

These were fitted to the rear fenders of 1971-1981 1200 trucks in the Japan market:

* 1974-1974 Deluxe
* 1974-1981 all

For the 1980s they used a block-script Sunny instead of this cursive style.

we started pulling out that stock engine and tranny and sent it to my cousin who will do the over all cleaning and overhauling. Parts will be purchased in Banawe, Quezon City (an entire street that caters all auto needs. all parts can be sourced here just choose from brand new, japan surplus, total wrecked surplus, taiwan immitations, and even stolen parts)
