Still looking for a det block thats good for a rebuild fellas.
Engine builder is waiting with parts just need a block with good bores as mine got moisture in and pitted the bores.

I have a DE block which has been hot dipped..... cost me $150 for the acid bath - you can have it for that

Demacoz i would happily pay that for a good clean block and so thanks for the offer...il keep it in mind if i cant get a hold of a DET.
YES they are out of the same casting (DE and DET) but they are honed or ported or journaled differently (so i have read and engine builder im using has told me) so....I do know it could and may be able to be used with some mechine work SO il let you know if i will need a good DE. Thanks

Any one else ???

Tommo does not have what im after supafatto. He has plenty of not what im after yep :) CAUSE i wouldnt keep asking lol
I would have to get another set of forgies (not there yet or il just use my pitted block) if im to use one from tommos stable.

SO has anyone got or know of another fella with a DET block in good condition that will not be needing it.

Can anyone help out with a DET block????
The two tommo have are staying with him and i aint found anything on nissansilvia.com that is of use. A couple i have done to look at are out in the open with a tarp next too 'covering the motor' and are now shagged as well.
Any help guys?
