Well there has been some slow progress.
Doors, boot, bonnet and guards are finally painted.
Need to colour sand the gaurds.
Doors are rebuilt and semi attached, need door seal and some other rubber parts, drivers top hinge has too much free play so will replace.
Bonnet now has pins, front guards have been cutout and lipped (these got a little pumped when rolling the lip but it actually helps so am happy).
Pedal box is finsihed and ready for install (wilwood pedal assembly)
I haven't mounted the front velance yet, still waiting to figure out how im going to mount the intercooler/radiator. Might need to put the engine back to fit it all behind the Rad support panel.

Ive sprayed the clear coat and started on the colour sanding.
I cut the paint back with 1200 grit and then used Autoglym 04B, finishing with autoglym Super Resin Polish.
It turned out pretty good, but does show up how poorly the panels are underneath.
Time consuming process but isn't really that hard to do.

Hey Bryan,
looking good mate - I can hardly believe it! Maybe I should have kept the old coupe after all ...........
Keep the momentum up - won't be long now

I did some more painting today.
Finished the outside of the body with colour but have not sprayed the clear over the top yet.
Here are a couple of pics. Pretty happy with the results, how I hope I can keep it off the wall long enough to enjoy the fresh paint job. It is almost too good for a track car :)
