On Gil we just used a 1/4" spacer on the rear. That evened it out enough.
By: smj_92845 Date: 1/24/02 9:26 pm Yep, It does push your front wheels out about 1/2" but you can make it look "flush" with the rear wheels by using 155-13's in front and 205-13's in the rear. Those are the mag wheels and tires that I'm using on mine.

Preferred because it's newer, easier to get parts for, bolts right up (I think the B210 stuff doesn't bolt up), and I think bigger/better brakes. Also I/we know the 210 stuff
works, I haven't seen anyone use the B210 stuff so..... Unless you just CAN'T find a 210 in the JY..... Ok, I got it. 210 not B210. Why is the 210 suspension preferred? (please help, im not trying to be a dick)

What do you mean mean the B-210 stuff doesn't bolt up to a 1200? I have all B-210 suspension in my
1200. See post 5444. Steve

I don't mean to misinform anybody, but I think in my post I said I wasn't 100% sure if it bolted up, not having done it myself. I didn't intend for anyone to
think it wouldn't work. By: smj_92845 Date: 1/25/02 5:05 pm What do you mean mean the B-210 stuff doesn't bolt up to a 1200? I have all B-210 suspension in my 1200. See post 5444. Steve

Post #5444 says you have it. It doesn't say it's a bolt-in. ;^)

A B210 is a 1974 to 1978 120Y with left hand drive, more or less.
Mareo PS It is the American name for your 120Y.

Here's the family tree...
Datsun B10: sold in Japan as a "Datsun Sunny", Australia and Europe as a "Datsun 1000". Datsun B110: sold in Japan as "Datsun Sunny" and as a "Datsun 1200" in all other countries. Datsun B210: Sold as a "Datsun Sunny" in Japan. Sold as a "120Y" in Europe and Australia and as a "B210" in America. Datsun B310: Sold in Japan and Australia as a "Datsun Sunny". Sold in Europe as a "Datsun 120Y" (or 140Y or 150Y depending on engine size). The last ones were sold as "Sunny". In America it was sold as a "Datsun 210". By far the simplest method of identifying models is by chassis code, i.e. B10, B110, B210 or B310 as this remains the same in all markets where-as engine sizes and names differ. Eddie

Nissan USA slightly confused thing by calling some models by their chassis code ...but not on all models. For example, 510, 610, 710, F10 and B210 were the actual chassis codes of these
cars. Thus it was logical to use that as a name. However then they go mess it up with the models 210, 310 and HL510... none of which are chassis codes but numbers given to the cars to show some kind of family lineage. The 210 is actually a B310, the 310 is actually an N10 and the HL510 is an A10. Confused yet? The LHD varients of any model are designated by an "L" preceding the chassis code. So an Aussie 120Y is chassis code B210 whereas an American B210 is LB210. Eddie

More or less. If im not mistaken the 120Y suspension is identical to the 1200 but the US B210 is not. It's pretty damn close but not the same. The control arms mount
behind the crossmember, for example. A B210 is a "US" 1974 to 1978 120Y with left hand drive, more or less. You can view topic.
