Obviously a bit late to start this as it's been going for years and I think it might be the last or second last for the first half of the year.

But I'll be there tomorrow representing the Datsuns. Not many get down there. It would be nice to see some more get there. You have to get in before 6 ish as if it's busy they get picky what gets in. Like 200B's for example.

I like not meeting Knox tmu.... Plus getting to Knox by 6pm not going to happen

ive not seen a cop let alone any hassling the tons of obviously unroadworthy overpowered cars there for years.

its a great event, dont be afraid of coming because of police - they seem to respect the event

Il be there . The show is run in conjunction with knox police as most of the money go's to charity they only pull over cars that do things that deserve being pulled over for.

JUST A WARNING ABOUT THE UP AND COMING KNOX CRUISE NIGHT.
Southern streeters have had a meeting with the knox police and have been told they are going to crack down on all the behavior that has been going on. This is not the majority as usual a few will ensure all will suffer.
there has been quite a few large turn outs and with that some **** heads too.
Anyone encouraging burnouts etc when leaving will be noted. please dont encourage this.
Anyone doing burnouts while leaving, any carrying on on the main road in the area, we have been also told street racing in the area on the night is being linked to the cruise.
If your car should not be driven normally on the road as it is not roadworthy, BE WARNED!!!!

Southerns will be doing everything they can to save the night. So we will be noting rego numbers and handing them in.
If you feel you enjoy the night and see someone ruining it for everyone, let them know your not impressed instead of encouraging it.
For a few we are at risk of loosing the night.

I'm not on facebook so I can't view the photo's.

It was the best Datsun turnout I've seen for a while. More than the Mazda and Toyota boys combined.

There was a purple 1600 that had a supercharged L series that I missed out on taking a pic of. That made a total Datsun turnout of 9. Good effort.

And a very cool pushie. The back wheel is spoked. Bloody awesome.




March will be the last for the first half of 2012 as it is only a daylight savings event.

That red B210 is hot.
The gray B10 is cool.
The B110 coupes are tough.

This is inspring me to fix my ute and get to the local meet this weekend. It still runs but won't idle. Maybe I'll just throw my Weber 32/36 on it.
